Network & Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Network & Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, securing, and maintaining our LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments while collaborating with cross‑functional IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and redundant network topologies.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, implementing OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Configure Layer 2 technologies such as VLAN, STP, VTP, and EtherChannel.
• Manage firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto) and implement ACLs, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Monitor performance with SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark and resolve latency, packet loss, and bottlenecks.
• Provide L2/L3 support, diagnose incidents, and handle escalations.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and change logs.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, network audits, and compliance with ISO 27001 and PCI‑DSS.

Required profile

• Engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, Cyber Security, IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in network administration and infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and good English/French communication skills.
• Passion for network infrastructure, routing, and security.

• VPN technologies: IPSec, SSL, Site‑to‑Site, Remote Access.
• IPv4/IPv6 addressing and subnetting.
• Network monitoring tools: SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark.
• Wireless controllers: Cisco WLC, Aruba, Ubiquiti.
