Medical Advisor

About the role

MSH Tunisia is seeking an experienced Medical Advisor to join its medical team in Tunis. The role provides expert medical guidance across all departments and to client companies, ensuring clinical appropriateness and high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Review pre‑authorization and referral requests for medical appropriateness using established clinical protocols.
• Handle medical queries from members and client companies.
• Provide medical opinions to other departments.
• Monitor and respond to medical requests received via Intraqual.
• Advise the PRECERT team on complex pre‑authorization cases outside standard protocols.
• Organise medical training sessions for operations administrators.
• Dispatch and sign off on claims exceeding 10,000.00.
• Maintain ongoing collaboration with the worldwide medical team.
• Offer medical advice on complex and high‑stakes cases.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD) and registration with the relevant Medical Council/Board.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English, French and Arabic.
• Bachelor’s degree (in addition to MD) as indicated.
• Working knowledge of office automation tools and internet.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
