Mechanical Engineer – Design & Development

About the role

Enovis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to research, design, verify and develop mechanical and electromechanical products and systems that support our medical‑technology portfolio. The role bridges R&D and manufacturing, ensuring safe, efficient and cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, verify and validate mechanical/electromechanical components such as metals, plastics, instruments, controls, robots, engines and machines.
• Develop and analyse hydraulic, resonance and heat‑transfer systems for production and energy use.
• Recommend technology options and process improvements to enhance safety, performance and cost.
• Support transfer of new designs from R&D to manufacturing environments.
• Troubleshoot moderate‑scope engineering problems using data‑driven analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to work with general instructions on routine tasks and detailed guidance on new projects.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate multiple factors and propose solutions.
