Material Compliance Specialist (Lead)

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Specialist / Lead Specialist in Material Compliance to ensure that all products meet legal, safety and environmental standards. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to manage material data and drive compliance initiatives across our automotive wiring solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and upload material data sheets for customer‑facing products.
• Maintain regular reporting and inform stakeholders about activity status and key performance indicators.
• Analyse and screen supplier data against current legal, safety and environmental regulations.
• Create, release and coordinate internal documentation required for compliance.
• Lead actions to eliminate prohibited substances from products.

Required profile

• University degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science or Sustainability.
• Minimum English proficiency level B2.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of material compliance standards and environmental regulations.
• Understanding of recycling principles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
