IT Business Analyst – Relocation to Portugal

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join its consulting team and support banking clients. The role involves analysing business needs, translating them into technical solutions, and ensuring successful delivery within a dynamic, multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document functional and non‑functional requirements from banking stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to design and implement IT solutions.
• Perform gap analysis, process modelling, and impact assessments.
• Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams.
• Support project governance, reporting, and change management activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Previous experience in the banking sector.
• Fluent in English and French (minimum B2 level).
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness and ability to permanently relocate to Portugal.

Required skills

• Business analysis methodologies (e.g., BABOK, Agile).
• Requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Process mapping and gap analysis.
