Head of Algeria Purchasing – Relocation Required

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a senior leader to head its purchasing function in Algeria. The role requires relocation to Algeria and will be the primary interface between global purchasing and local operations, ensuring the company’s sourcing strategy aligns with worldwide objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the purchasing strategy for Algeria in line with global goals.
• Develop a competitive local supplier ecosystem to support industrial growth and localization.
• Lead sourcing and resourcing activities for vehicle programs, from supplier selection to serial production.
• Ensure performance on cost, quality, and delivery through KPI monitoring and supplier performance management.
• Manage and develop the local purchasing team, fostering talent and capability.
• Build strong partnerships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in automotive purchasing or procurement.
• Proven track record of leading large, complex sourcing projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply‑chain teams.
