General Ledger Accountant (Tunisia)

About the role

Free2move is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join its Shared Services Center in Tunisia. Reporting to the Group Head of Accounting, you will be responsible for the accuracy, compliance and integrity of the financial records for one or more legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly and annual hard‑close process within group deadlines.
• Prepare, review and post inventory adjustments, provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses and deferred income.
• Collaborate with Management Controllers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Review and post closing entries related to payroll, taxes, depreciation and other adjustments.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure account accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits and work closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Tax, FP&A and Controlling teams.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and month‑end closing procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple legal entities.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional finance teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
