About the role
We are seeking a talented writer with a journalism background to join our remote content team. In this role you will create engaging scripts focused on entertainment and pop‑culture topics, help generate story ideas, and source visual assets that bring each piece to life.
Key responsibilities
- Write clear, well‑structured scripts for entertainment and pop‑culture content.
- Stay up‑to‑date with celebrity news, trending topics and viral moments.
- Participate actively in content ideation and story selection.
- Source and attach relevant images, video clips and media links to illustrate each script.
- Ensure factual accuracy and proper sourcing for all information.
- Adapt tone and style to match the editorial voice and target audience.
Required profile
- Background in journalism or professional content writing.
- Excellent English writing skills.
- Strong knowledge of pop‑culture, celebrity news and entertainment media.
- Passion for pop‑culture and entertainment topics.
- Curious, fast, rigorous and detail‑oriented.
- Autonomous, proactive and able to meet tight deadlines.
