English Teacher

About the role

Wall Street English, a language school founded in 1972 with over 400 centres worldwide, is looking for an English Teacher in Tunis. As a teacher you are part of the Service Team, alongside qualified teachers, personal coaches and receptionists, and report to the Service Manager. You prepare and teach interactive, fun and dynamic classes so that students acquire English and can communicate at their level.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive classes to students at every level, including core classes (Encounters) of up to 4 students and complementary classes.
• Prepare lessons and provide feedback and motivation at the end of each class according to the methodology.
• Design and run social clubs and English corners that reflect students' interests and build community.
• Mentor new teachers and encourage students to keep practising and celebrating their milestones.
• Keep the centre warm, welcoming and tidy, and promote Wall Street English as a premium provider.
• Take attendance in the Learner Management System after each shift, attend skills development seminars and staff meetings.
• Show flexibility by working shifts that suit students' needs.

Required profile

• Native or bilingual speaker of English.
• University degree.
• Certificate CELTA or equivalent in TEFL.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and values, and willingness to grow within the company.
