Embedded AUTOSAR & BSW Software Engineer (Tunis)

About the role

MICLA Engineering & Design is expanding its automotive software practice in Tunisia. You will join a new team delivering Basic Software (BSW) and AUTOSAR platform engineering for a major international vehicle manufacturer across infotainment, body, propulsion and automated driving programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate base software layers on automotive microcontroller platforms.
• Configure AUTOSAR Classic modules such as OS, COM, MEM, DIAG, EcuM, CanIf, Dem and Dcm.
• Generate and maintain RTE configurations and integrate middleware stacks.
• Contribute to software architecture design and documentation using SysML and ARXML.
• Apply functional safety principles (ISO 26262) in base software design.
• Debug on real and virtual targets, perform timing and resource analysis.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in embedded C with solid knowledge of real‑time constraints, registers, interrupt handling and memory management.
• Working knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic concepts, architecture and specifications.
• Familiarity with automotive networks (CAN, CAN‑FD, LIN) and professional English communication.
