Electronic APU Manager

About the role

The Electronic APU Manager leads and manages the Electronic Autonomous Production Unit (APU), ensuring alignment with plant objectives and representing the department internally and externally. The role drives operational excellence in electronics manufacturing and supports the Manufacturing Operating System (MOS).

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence by achieving production, quality, cost, delivery and safety targets.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Manufacturing Operating System (MOS).
• Manage and develop production teams, ensuring skills, training, polyvalence and workforce allocation.
• Ensure efficient execution of SMT, THT, soldering, electronic testing, inspection and final assembly.
• Monitor and analyse KPIs such as productivity, first time through, scrap, on-time delivery and OEE.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Mechatronics or Production Management engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as Electronic APU Manager.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes: PCB assembly, SMT, THT, soldering, electronic testing and final assembly.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and problem-solving techniques.
• Experience in KPI management, performance monitoring and root cause analysis.
