Design Engineer – Tool & Die for Forged Products

About the role

As a Design (Tool & Die) Engineer at Pursuit Aerospace, you will create and analyze tooling and part designs for forged components used in aircraft engines, ensuring they meet engineering and manufacturing goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide forged part and tooling designs for airfoil and non‑airfoil products, covering all required forge processes.
• Create detailed CAD models and drawings, evaluate die designs with DEFORM simulation, and develop CNC programs for machining tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues, support new product launches, and collaborate with tool room, quality, and metrology teams.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous‑improvement workshops across Pursuit Aerospace sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of tool and die design experience in metalworking.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with CAD, specifically Siemens NX.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
