Deputy Manager Receiving, Warehouse & Shipping

About the role

DRÄXLMAIER, a global automotive supplier known for modern cable harness systems and exclusive vehicle interior systems, is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager Receiving & Shipping Warehouse to lead warehouse, receiving, inventory and shipping operations in its Sousse site. The role ensures the efficient flow of materials and finished goods while driving operational excellence, inventory accuracy, cost optimization, safety compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse, receiving, inventory control and shipping activities
• Plan, coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound material flows to avoid delays
• Ensure timely receipt of raw materials and on-time shipment of finished products
• Oversee inventory accuracy through stock control, cycle counts, audits and corrective actions
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity and material flow
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Planning, Procurement and Transportation teams
• Ensure compliance with procedures, work instructions, company policies and EHS standards
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse teams and plan their allocation
• Promote continuous improvement, digitalization and automation initiatives
• Monitor logistics KPIs and improve service levels, efficiency, quality and cost

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Logistics or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in the automotive industry, including warehouse and logistics operations
• Fluent English; German is an asset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, customer-oriented and results-driven
• Preferred: experience with HOST or similar warehouse/logistics management systems

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of logistics, warehousing and manufacturing processes
