Cook – Full‑time Food & Beverage Position

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team at our Sheraton hotel in Tunis. In this full‑time position you will prepare and cook a variety of dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling and measuring.
• Cook foods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Prepare cold foods and assemble dishes for service.
• Test and monitor food for proper doneness and temperature.
• Set‑up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen environment.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents or unsafe conditions and follow all safety policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Food preparation and ingredient measuring.
• Operation of ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Temperature monitoring and food safety compliance.
• Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and work areas.
