About the role
Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Level I CNC Machinist to join its Megrine facility. The role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce aerospace components to precise specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines and related equipment according to programmed fixtures and methods.
- Make edits and adjustments to meet work order, blueprint, and sketch specifications.
- Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.
- Complete required paperwork for counts, scrap, and time tracking.
- Maintain a clean, orderly work area, including coolant tanks and tooling.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0‑2 years of CNC machining experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches in English.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to follow instructions.
Required skills
- CNC machine operation
- Understanding of feeds, speeds, and cutting tool application
- Use of precision measuring instruments
