Case Specialist – Pharmacovigilance (Pharmacist)

About the role

ProductLife Group is seeking a qualified pharmacist to join its Pharmacovigilance Hub as a Case Specialist. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of drug safety reports, supporting both internal teams and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control of vigilance cases and conduct medical evaluation of reports.
• Enter case data into ad‑hoc databases or client‑specified formats.
• Follow up on case requests via phone or email and pre‑analyse complex cases before data entry.
• Code cases, assess causal relationships, seriousness, and determine submission requirements.
• Validate documents produced by data managers and close vigilance files.
• Set up ICSR/MLM filters, analyse inclusion/exclusion of EV/MHRA cases.
• Provide medical information support, answer safety‑related phone calls, and review quality complaints.
• Act as key contact for specific customers with guidance from an Activity or Line Manager.
• Draft and maintain quality documentation.

Required profile

• Doctor or pharmacist by training.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Pharmacovigilance or Patient Safety.
• Process‑oriented, rigorous, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Strong multitasking ability, flexibility, and excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Database experience (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
