Bilingual Customer Service Specialist – German/English (Voice & Chat)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual German-English Customer Service Specialist to deliver exceptional support via voice, chat, and email. This remote position allows you to help customers feel heard, valued, and supported while working with a dynamic, fully-remote team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inbound assistance through calls, live chat, and email.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Personalize interactions to build strong relationships.
• Collaborate with teammates to continuously improve the customer experience.
• Offer feedback to refine service quality and processes.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of remote or online experience in customer service.
• Fluent in German and English (C1 level or higher).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both languages.
• Calm and solution-focused under pressure.
• Previous bilingual support experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with e-commerce and CRM systems is advantageous.

Required skills

• Experience with Gorgias, Zendesk, Shopify, or similar support tools.
• Knowledge of CRM systems.
