About the role

The Banquet Service Expert creates memorable dining experiences for guests by handling all aspects of banquet service, from table setup to guest interaction. This role requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and arrange banquet tables, chairs, linens, and serviceware according to event specifications.
• Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
• Serve guests, respond to their needs, and maintain a professional appearance throughout the service.
• Clean and restock work areas, ensuring all supplies are ready for the next event.
• Follow safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards while moving on varied surfaces.
• Lift, carry, and position items up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related banquet or food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.
