AI Trainer (LLM & Generative AI Specialist)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented AI Trainer to help shape the next generation of large language models and generative AI systems. Working remotely with a global team, you will design and execute training workflows, create high‑quality datasets, and analyse model behaviour to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage end‑to‑end training pipelines, including supervised fine‑tuning, RLHF, and red‑team exercises.
• Develop complex prompt templates and testing scenarios across coding, creative writing, reasoning, and multilingual tasks.
• Define and maintain rubrics for model output quality and produce “golden datasets” as standards.
• Analyse model failures, identify bias, hallucinations, or logical errors, and document root causes.
• Guide junior trainers and annotators, ensuring consistency and high standards.
• Document training methodologies, model behaviours, and iterative improvements for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and product managers to translate research goals into actionable training tasks.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose enhancements to annotation and evaluation tools.
• Design strategies for generating high‑quality synthetic data to augment training sets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant technical field (e.g., software engineering, computer science).
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to dissect complex problems and spot patterns in data.
• Comfortable reading technical papers and staying updated on AI safety research.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to shift between technical (e.g., code ranking) and creative (e.g., fiction writing) tasks.
