Accounting Assistant Specialist

About the role

Coral Travel Group, a travel group founded in 1992 operating in 21 countries, is looking for an Accounting Assistant Specialist to join its accounting team. The role keeps accounting records in line with the company's objectives, legal requirements and generally accepted accounting principles, supports accurate reporting, cost tracking and financial analysis, and handles day-to-day accounting transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records according to the company's instructions and generally accepted accounting principles, supporting reporting, cost tracking and financial analysis.
• Carry out daily accounting transactions, manage general ledger entries, bank reconciliations and accounts payable and receivable.
• Take part in monthly and annual financial closing and complete the necessary accounting entries.
• Provide information and documentation during external audits.
• Follow the daily workflows of the accounting team and coordinate weekly cash counts and the deposit of collected cash into bank accounts.
• Prepare a daily cash report showing the cash-to-bank balance.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting; new graduates are welcome.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English (mandatory).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with integrity and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Organizational and time management abilities.
