Talent Acquisition Officer

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Officer will join the HR Department at Bank ABC’s Tunisia Head Office. Reporting to the Global HR team, the role is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end recruitment services, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and securing the best talent for the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse hiring needs, develop provisional recruitment plans and anticipate future talent requirements.
• Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions, define staffing priorities and guide them through the talent management process.
• Manage the full recruitment workflow using the company’s information system, from job posting optimisation to candidate sourcing and screening.
• Conduct interviews, administer psychological and pre‑employment tests, and coordinate reference and background checks.
• Negotiate offers, prepare employment contracts and ensure smooth hand‑over to onboarding teams.
• Maintain recruitment metrics, produce monthly KPI reports and monitor the recruitment budget.
• Liaise with external recruitment agencies and negotiate service fees.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within the banking or financial sector.
• Strong understanding of Tunisian labour legislation and recruitment best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using recruitment information systems or applicant tracking tools.
• Experience with job posting optimisation, sourcing techniques and candidate assessment methods.
• Negotiation skills for compensation packages and agency contracts.
