Solution Manager

About the role

The Solution Manager will lead the technical design of utility‑scale photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. Working closely with sales, project management and R&D, you will translate customer requirements into robust, compliant solutions that drive market growth in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer specifications and develop optimal technical solutions for utility PV and BESS projects.
• Review RfQs/RfPs, prepare detailed bidding documents and coordinate communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support regional sales and marketing initiatives, including customer visits, conferences and partnership development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure solutions align with project goals and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the creation of new design tools and methodologies to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, energy engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience delivering technical solutions for utility PV, BESS, PCS and related equipment.
• Proven ability to work in a global or matrixed environment with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of utility PV inverters, battery energy storage systems, power conversion systems (PCS), MV transformer stations and PPC/EMS.
• Proficiency with industry simulation and design tools such as PVsyst and DigSilent.
