About the role

The client, a world‑leading aerospace construction company, is looking for a Production Team Leader to manage an autonomous production crew in Tunisia. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality machining and fitting of parts while meeting delivery and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a production team on the shop floor.
• Oversee machining and fitting operations to meet quality standards and delivery commitments.
• Assign tasks, monitor competencies, and handle administrative follow‑up for team members.
• Ensure compliance with internal regulations, safety rules, and workshop discipline.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication with key interfaces.
• Manage line performance and monitor productivity metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Production Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience managing a production team, preferably in an aerospace environment.
• Proven leadership abilities and team‑management skills.
• Familiarity with quality tools and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Basic understanding of budget management fundamentals.
