Lead Accounting – Finance Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Accounting professional to join our finance team. You will be central to the company’s financial strategy, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Guarantee reliability of accounts and compliance with international and local accounting standards.
• Supervise accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports to support strategic decisions.
• Secure unqualified audit opinions from external auditors.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance accounting and analytical skills.
• Contribute to ERP migration projects and improve financial information systems.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management.
• Design and enforce robust internal controls to mitigate risks.
• Calculate and record monthly and year‑end corporate tax provisions.
• Apply French and Tunisian accounting standards in daily operations.

Required profile

• Ambitious, results‑oriented professional with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or audit experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of French and Tunisian accounting standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial management tools.
• Experience with generative AI tools is a plus.
