Lead Accounting – Finance Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Accounting professional to join our finance team. You will be central to the company’s financial strategy, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
• Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger functions.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure unqualified audit opinions and compliance with International, French and Tunisian accounting standards.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives, focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team, enhancing technical and analytical capabilities.
• Participate in ERP migration projects and improve financial information systems.
• Provide in‑depth financial analysis, risk mitigation and internal‑control design.
• Calculate and record corporate tax provisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or audit experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of French and Tunisian accounting standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with financial management tools.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and migration projects.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (a plus).
