Freight Coordinator – Logistics & Transportation

About the role

Vantive, a leader in vital organ therapy and digital dialysis solutions, is looking for a Freight Coordinator to oversee shipment planning, carrier management, and documentation. The role ensures that goods move efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in full compliance with customs and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule transportation of goods across trucking, air, and sea modes.
• Book shipments with carriers and select optimal routes to reduce cost and delays.
• Monitor shipment progress, track delays, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, Incoterms, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, carriers, freight forwarders, and customers to resolve issues.
• Monitor transportation costs, verify freight invoices, and address billing discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot logistics problems, develop contingency plans, and handle claims or damages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain roles.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of transportation and logistics processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., GME, JDE) and Transportation Management System (TMS) tools.
• Understanding of Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
