FAI Quality Engineer – New Product Introduction

About the role
Effectively assist the introduction of new NPI parts from their start‑up phase to serial production, ensuring all required documentation is in place to meet applicable specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct first‑article inspections and prepare approval packages for customers.
- Ensure compliance with AS9102, AS13100/AS9145, APQP and PPAP standards.
- Lead NPI quality requirements, drive PPAP submissions and meet NPI milestones.
- Perform MSA, SPC studies and develop control plans per customer needs.
- Review and validate PFMEA, PFD, and product/process work instructions.
- Support CMM programming, create final inspection templates, and assist in designing fixtures and special tooling.
Required profile
- Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.
- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking standard English.
Required skills
- SolidWorks 3D CAD (plus).
- CMM programming (plus).
- GD&T knowledge.
- MSA and SPC analysis.
- APQP/PPAP processes.
- AS9102, AS13100, AS9145 standards.
- PFMEA and PFD creation.
