Test Engineer – Product Validation & Automation

About the role

The Test Engineer will design and implement testing strategies for hardware and software products, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, legal regulations, and internal specifications. You will work closely with R&D, validation teams, and production to guarantee full test coverage and product reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer, legal and internal specifications to create electronic test plans.
• Develop EOLT specifications and complex test programs for new equipment.
• Design and maintain automated test rack systems and functional tester software.
• Validate product software, test methodology, and coverage during DFT design reviews.
• Monitor test results, analyse defects and propose corrective actions.
• Support creation of test equipment and tester hardware specifications.
• Participate in FMEA activities and assist testing technicians daily.
• Facilitate transition of new processes to series production and integrate testing equipment into manufacturing cells.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to interpret specifications and translate them into test plans.
• Experience working with R&D and validation teams in an industrial environment.
• Ability to collaborate on cross‑project initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
