Technicien Méthodes – Secteur Automobile

About the role

The Methods Technician will support the automotive sector by setting up orders for new parts, ensuring business requirements are met and forwarding them for processing. You will act as a liaison between internal teams and suppliers to guarantee timely and compliant deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Create and place orders for newly requested parts, verifying conformity with business needs.
• Collect quotations from suppliers and manage the three‑step order process (order intake, monthly delivery date compliance, and shipment).
• Monitor order status, ensure monthly delivery dates are met, and track shipments.
• Identify and report critical issues such as blockages, anomalies, missing or non‑conforming parts, and technical problems.
• Escalate hard points and non‑conformities to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships by participating in regular meetings and supporting continuous improvement of the ordering process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in mechanical engineering, industrial methods or logistics.
• Experience in process management and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools.
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to communicate blockers and synthesize information.
• Team spirit and good communication abilities.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
