Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Cloud, Backend & Infrastructure

About the role

ProgressBox is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement and review security solutions for cloud and backend environments on demanding international projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and review security solutions for cloud and backend environments.
• Secure infrastructure, networks, APIs and backend services.
• Identify vulnerabilities and define appropriate mitigations.
• Perform security assessments, hardening and vulnerability analysis.
• Contribute to security architecture and technical documentation.
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
• Support security testing, monitoring and incident investigation when required.
• Follow and contribute to established processes, standards and quality requirements of large organizations.

Required profile

• Senior / Confirmed level in cybersecurity.
• Strong experience in cloud, backend and infrastructure security.
• Good knowledge of networking and security protocols.
• Experience with Linux and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with security testing, vulnerability assessment and hardening.
• Understanding of secure software development and CI/CD security.
• Experience working within big-company / enterprise engineering processes.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical teams.
• Good English communication skills.
