Reporter

About the role

Fabrique de cordage et scourtins, a manufacturer of rope and traditional filtration products serving local and regional markets, is hiring a Reporter for a full-time, on-site position in Sidi Hassine. The Reporter gathers, verifies and writes news and feature stories about company activities, industry developments and community initiatives, supporting internal publications and external communication.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, verify and write news and feature stories on company activities, industry trends and community initiatives.
• Interview internal and external stakeholders and attend relevant events or meetings.
• Produce clear, accurate written reports for internal publications and external channels.
• Prepare multimedia content such as photos, short videos or audio clips to accompany written pieces.
• Collaborate with communication and management teams to keep messaging consistent.
• Monitor local and industry news, identify story opportunities and meet deadlines while following ethical reporting standards.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in journalism, communications or media; a degree or training in these fields is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Sidi Hassine and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong reporting and news-writing skills, with fact-checking and objective presentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including interviewing, note-taking and adapting tone to different audiences.
• Solid writing and editing, with attention to detail, grammar and style.
• Basic multimedia skills for handling photos, video or audio.
• Familiarity with digital tools for content creation, document management and online publishing is an asset.
