RAN Integration Engineer

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a highly skilled RAN Integration Engineer to join a multicultural team supporting customers across the EMEA region. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality network integration projects for multi‑technology Radio Access Networks, including 5G, LTE, WCDMA and GSM.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end integration and commissioning activities for RAN technologies (5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and fault analysis in multi‑vendor, multi‑technology environments.
• Execute software upgrades, feature implementations and network modernization tasks.
• Develop and use automation scripts (Python, Java) to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support during deployment, expansion and integration projects.
• Collaborate with planning, optimization, transport and core network teams to ensure successful rollouts.
• Conduct testing, validation and acceptance of newly integrated network elements.
• Lead or mentor technical teams during complex integration activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in RAN integration and troubleshooting across 5G/4G/3G/2G.
• Strong understanding of RAN architecture, deployment processes and integration methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Ericsson RAN platforms and multi‑vendor telecom environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA as needed.
