Quality Technician (UAP)

About the role

The Quality Technician (UAP) ensures that safety, environmental and quality standards are consistently applied on the production floor. You will audit processes, train operators, and act as the first line of defence against non‑conformities, guaranteeing that products reach customers in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Apply and teach site safety and environmental rules.
• Conduct quality audits in production, including start‑up checks, Poka‑Yoke functionality, and compliance with work instructions.
• Verify that control plans, visual inspection standards, and parameter settings are correctly followed.
• Monitor first‑defect stoppages, open and track QRAPs, and ensure proper containment actions.
• Identify, quarantine, and secure suspect or non‑conforming products.
• Prepare quality alerts and deliver training to the affected teams.
• Maintain, calibrate, and re‑calibrate measurement equipment according to schedule.
• Participate in stop‑scrap analyses, 5‑axis activities, and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools, audit procedures, and safety regulations.
• Ability to train operators and communicate corrective actions clearly.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving mindset.
