Maintenance Technician

About the role

Pursuit Aerospace, a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment operating reliably. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and restore equipment to operation.
• Carry out inspections, identify potential issues, and implement adjustments or repairs.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machines.
• Complete maintenance work orders and document activities.
• Ensure proper use and availability of maintenance tools and spare parts.
• Apply safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement, 5S, root‑cause analysis, and equipment‑reliability projects.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Maintenance, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Willingness to work in shifts when required.
