Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, well‑stocked and ready for guests. Working full‑time at our Sheraton hotel in Tunis, you will respond promptly to guest requests and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests, transport supply carts, and enter rooms following access procedures.
• Replace amenities, clean linens, make beds, fold terry, and clean bathrooms.
• Remove trash, dirty linen, and room‑service items; ensure all appliances are present and functional.
• Dust, polish, remove marks from walls and furnishings, vacuum carpets, and perform floor‑care duties in rooms and hallways.
• Follow company safety policies, report maintenance problems, and handle flammable materials safely.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required; no prior experience necessary.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 lb unaided and heavier with assistance.
• Physical ability to push/pull a loaded cart on uneven surfaces, reach overhead, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
• Clear, professional communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
