ERP Development Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering graduate to join our ERP development team. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications that support our business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance ERP applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Develop and maintain Display Files, Subfiles, and Printer Files.
• Analyze and optimise DB2 SQL queries and overall application performance.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and systems analysts.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best‑practice development standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support application upgrades and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages.
• Interest in starting a career in the ERP ecosystem.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IBM i / AS400 or Mainframe environments (plus).
• Good knowledge of SQL and DB2 (PostgreSQL is a plus).
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience with COBOL or RPG (appreciated).
• Experience with Display Files, Subfiles, and Printer Files.
