About the role

The Project Manager will lead customer projects focused on medical device transfer and industrialization, guiding them from initial hand‑over through successful implementation in manufacturing. Acting as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, the role ensures projects meet quality, timeline, regulatory, and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead project transfer activities from customer sites to internal manufacturing operations.
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Organise and chair project meetings with customers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality requirements.
  • Coordinate manufacturing transfer and process validation activities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams for smooth implementation.
  • Support development and optimisation of manufacturing processes and work instructions.
  • Identify and implement process‑improvement, cost‑reduction, and efficiency initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with medical device regulations and quality system requirements, supporting risk management, deviation handling, and change control.
  • Participate in audits and customer visits as required.

Required profile

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical, Manufacturing or related).
  • Minimum 5 years of project‑management experience in the MedTech or medical‑device manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing or industrial project transfer preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical‑device manufacturing processes and quality standards.
  • Experience in regulated environments (ISO 13485, GMP, FDA) is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational, problem‑solving, communication and customer‑relationship skills.
  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using project‑management tools.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (plus).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
