Functional Tester (QA)

About the role

Elyadata is seeking a Functional Tester to join its QA team, ensuring critical software applications used in highly regulated environments meet functional requirements and maintain data integrity, traceability, and compliance. You will work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to validate features, perform manual testing, and support high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute functional test cases based on business requirements.
• Validate end‑to‑end business workflows in complex applications.
• Perform manual testing of web applications and APIs.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes before release.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure stability across releases.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and test coverage.
• Ensure end‑to‑end user journey validation from a functional perspective.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in functional testing or QA.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Curiosity and attention to detail.
