C/C++ Software Engineer – Real‑Time Trading Applications

About the role

You will join an international scrum team that delivers enhancements and fixes for a global electronic trading workstation used across major asset classes. The position focuses on building, maintaining, and improving high‑performance Windows applications that support real‑time trading workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C/C++ software for real‑time electronic trading applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects in development and production environments.
• Deliver client‑driven enhancements while adhering to continuous delivery and quality standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts to clarify requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Produce unit tests, technical documentation, and training materials for new features.
• Apply multi‑threading, design patterns, and performance‑optimization techniques.
• Support application stability and reliability in partnership with operations teams.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies within a distributed scrum team.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ software development.
• Experience building and maintaining real‑time or performance‑critical applications.
• Solid understanding of multi‑threaded programming and concurrency concepts.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver robust, maintainable solutions.
• Experience working in agile or scrum development environments.
• Professional working proficiency in English or French.
